The bubble burst four years ago. So what?

One of the most common challenges encountered by budding innovators is securing early-stage financing. It seems as though early-stage investors have become more hesitant since that renowned and most recent "bubble burst."

The bursting of the bubble is not necessarily an entirely negative phenomenon. As has be reiterated, the products with a demonstrable market and a strong business model can still secure funding - or at least still have a chance of finding financing.

Perhaps the lesson for innovators is this: do not be discouraged by lack of funding. Work on your market research; prepare your business model; polish your pitch; and begin knocking on doors.
